Farmington Hills is a city in Oakland County, a suburb of Detroit in the state of Michigan, USA. Farmington Hills is consistently ranked among the safest cities in the United States. I chose to document the commercial areas of this city of approximately 90,000 inhabitants using Google Street View and by exploring the alleyways and walkways of the shopping centers that line some of the city's main thoroughfares.
